Oh The Places You'll Go

Good Morning Pre-K students and families,

When we read a story we teach children about the author, plot, setting and  theme. We also talk about what happened in the beginning, the middle and the end. In the three years many of you have attended the ELC, I have had the privilege to see many of your preschool storybooks be written. In the beginning you were smaller, playing side by side with your peers and learning the hard task of waiting your turn. In the middle of your story, turning the pages of your days watching you grow taller, start playing with, rather than alongside your peers and  watched in amazement as you had a sense of pride being the line leader, the light person or the snack helper. This year as the story comes to a conclusion for many, you can hear the chatter of your imaginative play, page turning interesting conversations while on potty breaks or on the playground and watching you all become independent thinkers. Like many good books, there are always sequels, the next book in the series. As you leave the Early Learning Center today, I know that your next book will have just as many amazing adventures and stories to tell .

As you move up from pre-k today at the Early Learning Center, always remember the memories you created as a class and your larger family here at Congregation Ohr Shalom.

I would like you all to give a big THANK YOU to your parents…. For sharing you with us and for allowing me to be a part of your child’s life.

Will you succeed 98 ¾ percent indeed. You will definitely move mountains in All the Places You’ll Go.

Please come back and visit:)
